ISABEL MARANT FALL 2009 HAS ARRIVED

The much anticipated Isabel Marant Etoile collection for Fall 2009 has just hit our shop floor in NYC. For those of you who aren't in New York to visit the shop, we have decided to take pictures of the collection to share with you all. MY FAVORITE SUMMER T-SHIRT

A few months ago I mentioned to a friend of mine that I was in search for the perfect striped t-shirt. I had recently bought one at APC but after 2 washes it felt a little flimsy and not up to the job of being a staple in my summer wardrobe. My friend mentioned a French brand called Saint James, that's been around for years. I quickly purchased one of their staple Minquiers striped shirts in an Ecru/Bleu stripe and its been in heavy rotation in my wardrobe ever since. I love this shirt. It is a classic and even though just a t-shirt, I somehow always feel pulled together when wearing it even when paired with my torn jean shorts. I have since bought my second striped shirt from Saint James called the Alize. It is a slightly boxier style that gives the feel that you are wearing your boyfriend's tee.  I love both so much that we've added Saint James to the Mick Margo mix.
